Microsoft’s Bing is Now Open to Everyone

Microsoft has just announced that their Bing GPT-4 chatbot is now available to everyone without the need for a waitlist.

All you need to do is log in to Bing or Edge using your Microsoft account, and you'll be able to access the open preview version that's powered by GPT-4.

In addition, Microsoft is introducing new features to Bing Chat, such as image and video results, persistent chat and history, and plug-in support, which will allow developers to extend the functionality of Bing Chat in new ways.

Microsoft is partnering with OpenTable and WolframAlpha to enable plug-ins for completing restaurant bookings and generating visualizations.

Microsoft will share more information about these new features at their upcoming Build conference.

Tech Bosses Summoned to White House

Some tech bosses got summoned to the White House and were given a stern warning about Artificial Intelligence.

Google's Sundar Pichai, Microsoft's Satya Nadella, and Sam Altman from OpenAI were told they had a "moral" duty to make sure their AI products were safe for the public.

The White House even hinted at the possibility of more regulation in the sector.

Recently launched AI products like ChatGPT and Bard have caught the public's attention.

The emergence of these AI products has sparked a debate on the potential risks and benefits of the technology in society.

Some worry AI could take over their jobs, spread fake news, and violate copyright law.

But others argue too much regulation could give Chinese tech companies an advantage.

We think it's a delicate balancing act for the tech industry and regulators to strike a balance between safety and progress.
