6 Social Media Platforms That Generative AI May Kill

I’ll be back! And this time it’s Social. Generative AI is making quite the headlines in recent months. It’s deep learning and natural language abilities will increasingly be able to replicate human interaction and creativity.

In other words, soon we’ll be socialising with our buddies ChatGPT, Dall-E and Midjourney. (mostly) reliable answers, more and custom design options, tailored inspiration, 3D models… within seconds. Take that humans!

The Social Media platforms that could get some heavy competition are Quora, Reddit, Pinterest, DeviantArt, Artfol and ArtStation. Amongst others… While it remains to be seen how generative AI will affect social media, one thing is for sure: it will change how we use Social Media.

 GPT-4 is here, all you need to know.

It finally happened. OpenAI launched GPT-4 today. In an all out release ChatGPT-4 promises to deliver a large multimodal AI with image support, and provide it with a deeper understanding. The visual inputs keep consistent on various documents including text and photo’s, diagrams, screenshots and even hand drawn scribbles.

OpenAI president and co-founder Greg Brockman even showed a hand drawn ‘joke website’ (quite badly drawn) of which he made a photo with his mobile phone. This drawing he fed to GPT-4 and turned it into a fully functional Javascript website (HTML/CSS/JS).

The waitlist for GPT-4 (yes it’s here again) has opened to the public for those of us that want to be the first in history to get their sticky little pawns on this shiny high-tech Toy.

Is GPT-4 so much better or smarter than GPT-3 you ask?

Below is GPT-4's performance on many standardized exams: BAR, LSAT, GRE, AP, etc. The truth is, GPT-4 can apply to Stanford as a student now. AI's reasoning ability is OFF THE CHARTS.

Google is bringing A.I. chat to Gmail and Docs

What I’m about to tell you is a true story. Google once was the most popular search engine in whole the country. Maybe even the world. But that all changed when something happened. Was it the lack of interest, or even the slow movement of a well fattened Juggernaut? No one knows. ChatGPT came and conquered the search engine wars with AI. Instant answers, to complex matters, within seconds..

But wait, don’t give up on Google just yet. Didn’t the tech whale invest heavily in ‘Deep Learning’? You bet they did. Albeit in a less flashy way, behind the curtains a group of engineers has been working on AI for over a decade. Plus they are a multi billion dollar company.

This week Google revealed its adding AI features to their most popular products. Currently in its test fase, users of Workspace are able to join the bèta on Gmail and other productivity tools. Workspace boast more than 3 billion users worldwide.

Last month Google instituted a ‘code red’ to its employees in coming up with a solution to ChatGPT. The company says its very excited about the potential of Generative AI and the opportunities it will unlock.

1.) ACT AS AN IT-EXPERT [ 👉 use this prompt to solve IT problems]

“I want you to act as an IT Expert. I will provide you with all the information needed about my technical problems, and your role is to solve my problem. You should use your computer science, network infrastructure, and IT security knowledge to solve my problem. Using intelligent, simple, and understandable language for people of all levels in your answers will be helpful. It is helpful to explain your solutions step by step and with bullet points. Try to avoid too many technical details, but use them when necessary. I want you to reply with the solution, not write any explanations. My first problem is “my laptop gets an error with a blue screen.”

2.) ACT AS A WEBDESIGN CONSULTANT [ 👉 use this for a Webdesign consultant]

“I want you to act as a web design consultant. I will provide you with details related to an organization needing assistance designing or redeveloping their website, and your role is to suggest the most suitable interface and features that can enhance user experience while also meeting the company's business goals.
