WHAT’S THE NEWS 🤓

Home Alone Kevin

Our friends at VICE did a ‘Kevin McCallister’ in name of science using AI. Reproducing the famous scene in Home Alone where the star calls the Plaza Hotel in New York. Using his taperecorder to the phone and playing back his voice in slowmotion, he tried to fool the Hotel employees impersonating his Father’s voice. The Plaza Hotel was fooled. And so were the Banks. Voice ID is seen as secure way to log into your bank account. VICE proved it’s possible (and very easy) to trick bank systems with free or cheap AI-generated voices. Now bring me the money!

The idea of writing finally seemed possible.

Everybody can write. Right? Wrong! Or can I? This is what Brett Schickler, a selfproclaimed ‘AI-writer’ discovered. When people rather used his books for toilet paper, Brett gave up on the idea of becoming a professional writer. He simply lacked talent. Until the arrival or our messiah ChatGPT. Using the AI software, which can generate blocks of text from simple ‘prompts’, Schickler created a 30-page illustrated children’s e-book in a matter of hours, offering it for sale in January of this year through Amazon.com.

Is HAL the new Einstein?

We’re are proud bunch, us Humans. I for one, love to boast on my drawing skills. Yet they’re far from special of course. There are way better painters and graphic artists out there. The brightest minds of our society however, who operate at a level where you and I are like 🤯, have some new competition in AI. A recent study by the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute predicts a close encounter of the first kind, when it comes to creativity and innovation. Will HAL (2001: A Space Odyssey) be the new Einstein?

“Looking forward, the most successful ideas likely won’t come from bright thinkers alone but from those best at mindfully steering intelligent machines while remaining firmly in the driver’s seat.”

Jan Bieser, Senior Researcher and Speaker, Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute

WHAT PROMPTS 💻

ChatGPT is a powerful tool. If you know how to use it..

Every week we will share 2 ‘Prompts’ that you can use to get a ‘best result’ answer on a specific topic. Have fun with it!

1.) COLD DM [ 👉 use this prompt to connect to potential customers]

"I need a cold DM idea that will create a sense of community and belonging for my [ideal customer persona] by featuring user-generated content and encouraging them to share their own experiences with my [product/service]."

2.) CONTENT CREATION FRAMEWORK [ 👉 use this prompt for content creation]

"Using the 'Situation-Complication-Resolution' framework, please write a marketing campaign outline that presents a [situation] faced by [ideal customer persona], discusses the [complication] that arises from the situation, and presents our [product/service] as the [resolution] to the problem. End with a call to action that encourages the reader to take advantage of the solution."
